SBGS Community Engagement |
Our Mission
- To bring acoustic, fingerstyle, classical guitar as a cultural offering to the community through performance and interactive demonstrations, and to connect the community to local resources.
- Events at senior-care and healthcare facilities, social service facilities, libraries, museums, and underserved areas
- Group instruction and informal performances in schools
- Informal daytime performances on corporate campuses
- To raise the profile of the acoustic, fingerstyle, classical guitar and SBGS
- Increase participation and attendance at SBGS activities
- Increase SBGS membership
SBGS community events are free of charge to the participating institutions and audiences
