Classical guitarist Chris Shahin - PRIVATE EVENT

This private event at Shamrock Residential Care is not open to the public or SBGS members.

The South Bay Guitar Society is pleased to present classical guitarist Chris Shahin in this community engagement event.

Chris Shahin is the founder and owner of the San Jose Guitar School of Music (SJG) and has been teaching and performing for over 30 years.

He begin studying classical guitar with Randy Osbourne and later studied with jazz fingerstyle master Tuck Andress. Shahin graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and continues to compose, perform and record. 

Shahin's latest project “Stamadios!” features many top Bay Area jazz musicians and showcases Shahin's own guitar playing on his instrumental and vocal compositions. Shahin is currently working on an all-original album of waltzes for guitar and strings.
