  Welcome to Technique Workout! We'll cover fretboard knowledge, tone production and rhythm as well as other issues related to these areas. Each class will include structured exercises performed as a group and discussions of using technique to achieve more depth in your playing. This class is intended for guitarists of all levels, including beginners and longtime players. Join us to sharpen your technique and musicianship and improve your expression through your music!

  Setup recommendation for participants:
  

  An external microphone such as a Zoom USB digital microphone is recommended for good sound quality. For example, the Zoom H1n works very well. If you don’t have one, the microphone in your computer or mobile device will be adequate.

  We recommend that you install the latest version of Zoom. Go to the Zoom/Check for Updates menu item and run the update, or go to Download Zoom Update.  

  About the instructor: 

  Specializing in jazz and Spanish guitar, Sebastian Quintero received his degree in 2019 from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Marc Teicholz and has been a working musician since. As a soloist, Quintero has delighted audiences along the West coast in venues ranging from intimate house concerts to large concert halls.
