Classical guitarist Carlos Alonzo Rivera performs in this South Bay Guitar Society community engagement event

Carlos Alonzo Rivera is a multifaceted guitarist, composer and educator based in San Francisco. Carlos possesses a diverse musical background and is well-versed in genres including classical, jazz. rock, metal and blues.  He holds a Master's of Music in classical guitar performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Bachelor's of Music and Music Industry from California State University, Chico. Carlos has worked in masterclasses with some of the world's best guitarists including Roland Dyens, David Russell, Scott Tennant, Bill Kanengiser, Andrew York, and Eliot Fisk. Carlos is currently the guitarist for Dark Americana pop singer Lenni Revel and is also working on a solo 7-string guitar album.
