Clinic on Flamenco Guitar with Bruno Panunzio

We will dive into fundamental rhythmic structures and techniques used in flamenco guitar. We'll explore the common keys and tonal centers of different palos and learn some of the important right-hand percussive effects used in flamenco guitar.
Bruno Panunzio is a versatile guitarist with experience in genres ranging from flamenco and South American to classical guitar. He is the recipient of awards and scholarships including the Santa Barbara Musicians Union Award in 2006, Santa Barbara's La Fair/Rokoff/Gilbert Fund Scholarship in 2007 and most recently a scholarship from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he attended from 2014 to 2016. His experience includes solo and ensemble performances in Italy and throughout the U.S. Bruno has traveled extensively to Malaga and Sevilla in Spain, where he studied flamenco guitar with Mariano Campallo, Manuel Valencia, and Yago Santos.
Bruno received his master's degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under Sergio Assad and his bachelor's degree from San Francisco State University under Lawrence Ferrara.
