Bowen Zheng, Classical Guitarist in Recital

The Vernon Salon Series is pleased to present guitarist Bowen Zheng in recital.

As a Deering Endowed Scholar, Zheng completed his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in classical guitar performance under Dr. Thomas Viloteau at the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Zheng has performed at notable venues such as A die Musik Live! in Baltimore and The Rosette in Austin, Texas, as well as at Aguado Guitar Concerts in Sterling, Va. Zheng is the events director at the South Bay Guitar Society and serves on its board of directors. He is currently teaching and performing in the San Francisco Bay Area while pursuing a Professional Studies Certificate at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music under Marc Teicholz.
